Although, I didn’t select him he was very professional.

3rd project with this contractor, and unlike the other 2 it went very poorly. The work quality (walls banged up, toilet installation faulty and therefore leaky, door frame damaged) as well as the attitude throughout have been disappointing.

We had a contractual dispute and worked to resolve it, eventually came to terms but nevertheless the work quality suffered enormously and in fact they used the issue they themselves created to try to wrangle back the money they weren't able to squeeze out of us earlier. Make sure you contract is ironclad otherwise you'll pay 4-5x over cost for parts, even when the parts are to make up for issues from poor project scoping (like telling us to order a 12 inch toilet and then realizing only 10 inch would fit, then charging $80 for the $20 part that corrects the mistake)

My wife and I had Home Max do our kitchen remodel. They were quick to respond to questions, honest, and helpful through the process. They did great work in the kitchen itself, which turned out looking as great in person as we imagined it would on paper.

Working with Robert and his team, Karol and Les, was an excellent experience. They were very knowledgeable and hard working, finished the job within the original estimate, cleaned up every day before they left and had high standards for their own work. Besides a complete redo of my bathroom they also finished a job from a previous contractor for my kitchen. Robert's pricing was fair, he was open to negotiation on special requests, he was patient and had excellent communication skills. I highly recommend Home Max for your next remodel needs.

Robert was very nice and he provided all good information, he is professional and gave me tips for saving money, but total cost of project was out of my budget.
He return phone calls and text in time, showed up on time.

We found Robert and Home Max through build zoom. I received 4 or 5 estimates with walk thrus, and Robert was the only contractor to talk me through his process, his thinking and his estimates. We chose Home Max and have been pleased with the results. It was a large renovation of a single family residence. Everything turned out great, the work was completed in a timely manner, and the communication was excellent. I have heard the horror stories of contractors being unreachable, but that was never the case with Robert. We were so happy with the results that we used Home Max again for a bathroom and kitchen remodel in a condo. I would highly recommend!!!

Robert and his employees did such a great job on my kitchen. I love it!! Once the project started, workers were at my house daily (minus weekends) and worked 8-10 hours a day to finish the project. Workers were on time, knowledgeable about the trade, and respected not only my time but my property as well. When changes needed to be made it was VERY easy to communicate with Robert (owner), I never had to wait days to hear back from him,(something I read a lot about while searching for a contractor). Honest pricing for honest work. I highly recommend Home Max Logs, Ltd.

Working with Robert has been an absolute joy! We did a medium sized update to our home, which included knocking out a wall to make the living/ dining room/ kitchen one large space. This meant, ripping out an existing tile ceiling and replacing it with gypsum to seamlessly join the 2 rooms, as well as refinishing all wood floors in the home and adding new wood floors to blend right in. Additionally, we had our kitchen remodeled, some windows moved up and the exterior re-bricked, lighting moved and added, and some work to our garage. Robert and his team were amazing! The end product is absolutely beautiful. Whenever there was a hiccup along the way, as with all updates in an older home - some unexpected surprises are bound to pop up, but whenever an issue arose Robert was quick to communicate with us and work with us to make it right. Their pricing is super fair and the craftsmanship is on point! I would highly, highly, highly recommend Home Max Logs. We will absolutely be using them again when we take on rennovating our basement!
