rmove old unit install new unit
    $5,000

See my original review BELOW until a few months later everything broke...

I engaged Arcadale Heating & Cooling, LLC to install a new HVAC system, and initially, the experience seemed promising. Bill, the technician assigned to the job, appeared knowledgeable and was helpful in evaluating the outdated closet that previously housed the old unit. He provided specific measurements and guidance to rebuild the closet to accommodate the new system, which I followed carefully.

Over the course of a week, I completely rebuilt the closet: I removed the old flooring, reset it to the proper height, installed insulation, sealed all cracks, and cleared out obstructions to ensure a clean and efficient installation. I left the old ductwork intact, expecting the technician to either work with or modify it as needed during installation. I built a new concrete pad outdoors. He even told me that everything was proper and professional and that no one ever takes the time and has this level of detail, complemented me on a job well done and said it was exactly what he needed.

Ultimately when he brought he unit and realized it was too large he should have reschedule and returned with the smaller unit.

Once the installation was complete, the system functioned properly for a short time. However, a couple of months later, I noticed the house was not cooling as expected. Upon inspection, I discovered that the top connection from the blower was not sealed to the vent system—it was releasing cold air directly into the closet, bypassing the ducts entirely.

I contacted my warranty company, who sent a technician. Unfortunately, I was informed that the way the unit had been installed violated the warranty’s terms. Despite this, they performed the necessary repairs but charged me a service fee.

I reached out to Arcadale Heating & Cooling to resolve the matter, but they initially redirected me to the warranty company and refused to take responsibility for the installation issue. Despite the installation being only a few months old, they declined to inspect or address the problem. Subsequent follow-up attempts—including phone calls, voicemails, and emails—were ignored.

As a result, I was forced to pay $142.50 out-of-pocket for the repair and submitted an invoice to Arcadale for reimbursement, which has also gone unanswered. Moreover, due to the improper installation, I now face complications with future warranty service eligibility.

While Bill may be technically skilled, the company failed to stand by their workmanship and address a serious installation flaw. This lack of accountability and communication raises significant concerns for anyone considering their services.

This was my original 5 star review until a few months later everything broke...

Very fast and efficient. Explained in great detail the issue which I very much appreciate. The best ac repair man we have ever had in our 20 years in FL and certainly out of 12 in the last five years. Actually cares about his job and doing not just a good one but a great job. Bill deserves a raise!

Arcadale Heating and Cooling replaced a 14 year old 4 ton Rheem heat pump with a 4 ton Bosch IDS connected heat pump at my residence. Exceptionally pleased with the service and attention to detail shown by this company and its install crew…very professional accompanied with a fair price...top notch 5 Star…would highly recommend.
