Cabinets/countertop were purchased new and installed with damages and w/o company supervision-Ken left unlicensed workers at location to install cabinets after dropping off materials; every shelf was installed loose and could not hold dishes-each shelf flopped up loosely underneath with hand-dishes continue to sit outside of closets; countertop has knicks close to faucet and a long cut on side-installers assuming that it would not be noticed due to the design camouflage; cabinets are not aligned-there are gaps between each cabinet; there are huge gaps/openings between the cabinet doors-large enough to place your pinky finger through; cabinet doors were not aligned again as they were in the same state as when taken off-numerous cuts & knicks are all over glass doors; Ken left doors off of the cabinets for a couple months; cabinet knobs are missing-Ken stated that he left them at his location-they have been missing for several months and are still missing; white substance is plastered all over doors & glass; Ken showed up several months ago with cabinet doors in his arms w/o any covering for them w/the assumption that he will just stain those damages as well; wood floor siding was nailed/glued to cabinet w/o owner permission on only one side of the cabinet-Ken stated that he did not know why it was done that way; we asked for new cabinets as a replacement after install-Ken offered to stain knicks and replace some individual cabinets-he later shared that the parts were no longer available due to him dragging his feet-Ken then reported verbally that he would make that up to us-he never followed up on his word; We informed that staining damages as a cover up during installation damages was unacceptable and incomparable to new cabinets; 4 purchased cabinets were never installed or delivered; Ken often ignored any communication whether he received a call, text, or email-when Ken did respond, it was only partially to the info forwarded; Ken used customer chair as a ladder to install top cabinets-broke chair-has refused acknowledgement of it or replacement or an apology or concern; Ken walked in screen door three months ago-broke it and refused to replace it after another contractor informed that it needed to be replaced-also Ken’s action placed the home at risk because we haven’t been able to close the door in order to lock it for three months- we have been unable to properly use the door all summer-Ken has shown no concern for the state that he left the door in and the inconveniences that it has caused us which is unrelated to the cabinet installation; pipes were left loose to the wall under the sink, removed stove and left trash on it outside of the house; left all of the debris on the floor and failed to sweep it up and installed the new cabinets on top of the trash-I read online where a former customer stated that installers cleaned up the trash in her house after install-Ken communicated to me that clean up caused from install was not their job; wood chips were left all over the shelves after install and not cleaned up by installers; Ken canceled his account with home advisor very recently to avoid being made accountable for reporting and resolving this problem; Ken and team showed discrimination/inequity towards me based on the facts listed re: how this install has been handled; we have demonstrated patience and respect toward Ken for many months and he has refused to respond to any communication sent to him. Ken did not contact us after several weeks from phone calls, texts, messages until Home Advisor contacted him and after he saw the rating. To date, there have been no resolve or actions from Ken for several months from installation to satisfy the purchase.
No, I would not recommend this company to anyone.
