  Build a house

  They built house for my family in Park City. Their work entailed hiring unqualified subcontractors, all kinds of delays, and poor project management. They have no project management system, don't use a financial accounting system so they can't provide accurate reconciliations, and (as we came to learn) didn't even provide their subcontractors with accurate scopes of work. In other instances, their subcontractors' work was clearly in violation of governing codes and Artisan still OK'd it and had me pay for it. When it comes to Artisan remedying obvious failures, they spend days telling you why XYZ does not mean XYZ. I've run my own business, and when you screw-up, you just fix it. I agree with the other reviewer's comment that integrity doesn't have much of a place with this company.

  We have wanted to write a review for years now as our home was completed in 2015, but I just came across this website and thought I needed to. My husband and I have had some experience working with contractors from a small amount of control building a townhome in a development , to my mothers custom home with a well known contractor in Utah, to finally building our custom home with Artisan.... Our townhome went smoothly but we had very little control since it was in a development, my mother’s custom was an absolute nightmare from start to finish, if everything you heard about a horrible experience with a contractor could happen with him it did. When we set out to find a contractor we had been in one of Artisans beautiful homes that were in the framing stage and we just kept going back until we met Scott Bishop and talked to him, after getting everything finalized and starting the building, it ran so smooth , he made everything about it exciting and fun, just as building a new home should be. We trusted him with everything he did, he made himself available st all times, and if he had to be out of town we were able to contact Jared. We will never use anyone else to build for us, my niece and nephew recently completed a build with Artisan and our thrilled as well, they leave you wanting to never have the experience end and make it so you want to build again, more than trustworthy , they have so much integrity and our honest, and the quality of their work is beyond compare.   Build a House

  Very dissappointed

  Jared and his team strung us along for months telling us that our lot/house was a go at the price points discussed. At the last minute he told us of a very large fee that was to take place. Then told us that if we didn't do it he had plenty of people willing to jump on our lot.

  It was clear he tried to ditch us to get more money with someone else. Apparently integrity doesn't have much of a place with this company.

  If anyone has gone through the buying/building process time is money and he just burned us up.
