We had moisture in our attic and called Ashco Roofing. They said "the only cause for moisture in the attic is a leaky roof." The roof was old so we had them replace it. The next fall, we still had moisture in the attic and called them back. They said "there are many reasons you could have moisture in the attic." So apparently we paid them $10,000 for a new roof we didn't need. Stay away from these guys.

* WARNING * Ashco Roofing Damaged My Home And Never Paid Me For The Repairs
On June 17th 2021, I hired Ashco Roofing to remove and install a new roof. Prior to the crew staring the process on my home I had many conversations with Mike Ashworth the owner of Ashco Roofing about my expectations and criteria for completing the job. I had been a roofer for three years, so I knew the requirements and procedures to properly preform the job.
Initially I thought Ashco Roofing was the right company to complete the job, since I had several visits and conversations with Mike before any work was ever started. He reassured me several times that he would do good job and address all my issues.
The job took two days to complete, however it has been nearly two years since the work was done, but I am still fighting Mike to take ownership of his crew damaging the rain gutters, stucco, vegetation, faulty workmanship, improperly installing the roof and causing water to leak in the basement which lead to mold growing in the the wall.
I called and texted Mike multiple times about the issues while the roof was being replace, but he never took corrective action to address all the damage which his crew did to my home. In fact he has NEVER stopped by to inspect the work or damages. Mike’s only concern was to get paid and any costs that benefited him.
Mike demanded full payment and eventually placed a lien on my home and sue for payment. He never properly severed me and a hearing was held without my peasants because he made false claims that I had been served but I hadn’t nor could he prove it. I later showed evidance to the court that I was never served, and the judge rule in my favor; however, payment was issued to him because a garnishment ruling yet I was not notified so I could take corrective legal action.
I contacted his lawyer and demanded they return the funds after my motion was granted, but he never did so. Now, I am having to take him to court to get may funds back.
Mike is a selfish, arrogant. heartless and ruthless contractor!
DO NOT HIRE HIM he will screw you over.
During a search after my experience I did a search for similar issues about Ashco Roofing and found 29 other victims who wrote negative reviews about Ashco Roofing.

I used to recommend them to everyone. Now I tell everyone to stay away from them.
When they first showed up to do my roof they were 3 hours late, but did what I thought was a good job pretty quickly. I got a TPO roof and it came with a 10 year labor warranty and a 20 year material warranty. There was a bit of leaking after they were done but they sent a guy right back out and it seemed like everything was good.
It turns out that the leak was not gone just lessened enough that it didn't make it into the house but was still damaging the wood underneath. It eventually got bad enough that it made it into my house, damaging the drywall, after 8 years. And here's where the nightmare begins.
I call Mike and he says he'll have someone out later that week. Nobody showed. 2 weeks after I called he tells me he doesn't have my invoice anymore so I have to find it to send to him along with pictures of the damage. It took 6 weeks of him rarely answering the phone (telling me people will be coming and then nobody showing up), and not returning my calls or texts to finally get someone out to look at my roof. The guy got there 1 ½ hours late with no call or text to let me know. The guy sees what's going on and I think it will be over soon.
I then spend 5 more weeks calling / texting 4 different people trying to pin down a time to get someone to come fix it. Again they almost never answer the phone (again giving me the runaround about people coming that never show), and only returning calls / texts a couple of times. After 11 weeks of this crap I had to threaten to go to my insurance company to have them handle it to finally get someone to show up. 1 ½ hours after he's supposed to be there I call a supervisor to be told he'll call me back when he knows what time the repairman can come. I finally get a call back late in the afternoon and he ends up coming the next day on a Saturday.
He's 1 ½ hours late, with no call or text, and doesn't even have the materials to do the repair. So he has to come back on Monday. They again show up 1 ½ hours late. They have to remove my swamp cooler to do the repair, that was expected. What wasn't expected was the water that was spilled into my roof after they opened everything up. I had water all over in my hallway and it even went down through the walls into my basement. They left early with about 1 hour of work left and so couldn't put back my swamp cooler. It was 90+ degrees...
They don't show up at all the next day. And when I call a supervisor to find out what's going on I get told the repairman had a personal appointment that must have gone over. That was a lie. I got a text from the repairman at almost 4 saying he won't be coming because they put him an a different repair and he's been there all day. So an entire day of 90+ degrees with no AC while my wife, kid, and dogs are all at home waiting for him to show up and finish.
I chewed the repairman out a bit and the next day they actually showed up on time. I get a text about an hour later saying they finished and cleaned up and the swamp cooler is put back. The pump was knocked over inside so it didn't work. The swamp cooler was put back crooked. They didn't put pads under the feet of it so they wouldn't rub through the roof. All the trash “cleaned up” was in a pile on the side of my driveway. I had to leave work to come fix the AC and it turned out to be a good thing that they left the pile of trash there. I was able to use the old TPO to make pads to go under the feet.
I have never had to deal with a group of people this unprofessional before. It was absolutely ridiculous. Go with another company that knows how to honor their agreements without being threatened. Even if it costs a little more it will be worth it if you don't have to deal with this kind of circus.
