    Lift home and ad a foundation

    I can not begin to say enough about Rod Baggett and the team that works with him. He had our 1909 two story home up and back down on a new foundation within a couple days. I am a contractor and not only was his price to do the work 35,000 less than the other two companies I talked with, but he added more lumber to ensure the perfect fit before we closed at no additional cost. He could have easily done change order and I would have had no qualms about it since the underneath area was not accessible until it was lifted. The crew were extremely respectful and the cleaned up every bit of debris. Since then I have referred his Company to several others and they later called and thanked me for the great referral. Locally owned and operated there is no other Company that comes close to their quality. Thanks again,

    The contractor doing our concrete and foundation work suggested Baggett for house lifting as he had worked with him prior.
    Baggett does construction as well as house lifting.

    Baggett's contract was unprofessional chicken scratch stating... lift house cost & return house to original level cost with the date & his signature.

    Baggett was out of the country on holiday when our house was lifted.

    Baggett called a week prior to our house being set down to its original position & said he wanted our sill plates cut so his timbers would not be cut.
    Baggett is the house lifter, maybe he should have been present when his crew set the timbers so they would not be where they may get cut.

    We did not agree that our sill plates would be cut and they were not.

    The day the house was being set down, he called & stated since some of his timbers would be cut, he wanted another $2,000.
    His call was returned, no answer, & left the message...
    "we would adhere to the contract, no extra $2,000."

    Baggett appeared at the house the following day, pleading his case where he deserved the additional $2,000.
    Did not happen.
