Barbely's construction contracted with Dune Mist 2 condominium in March 2012 in Ocean City, MD. We paid nearly $3,000 for a wood stairwell repair which was not to code. He did not apply for a permit through the City. We were told by Barbely's Construction that the repairs would not need a permit, however, when the City Inspectors drove by happened to see the work that was done, it actually did need a permit. Barbely's Construction did not stand by their work. We contacted them by letter as well as by phone. They never offered us money back for their error, they never stood by their contract and finished the work to code. They never even apologized for their error. Needless to say the entire staircase had to be taken down and rebuilt at our cost!! NEVER will we use or recommend Barbely's Construction! And you shouldn't either!!

Rob and Adam recently installed metal roofing on my house, porch, and over a hot tub. They had to roof around dormer windows and on complicated roofs and roof joinings. Both were very professional, honest, and did excellent work in the promised amount of time. I plan to use them again both for future roofing and to put an addition on another house.

Notorious for building not up to code, not pulling the proper permits. My home has been placed on a stop work order for 6 months, my drain field has failed, I have no drinking water and my ceiling is constantly dripping water. Someone needs to shut them down before they victimize others!
