    Menar Construction’s owner and sole employee, Behroz Sarange (B. S.) underbid my master bedroom and bath project to take the job (my ignorance). B.S. would provide construction Material, Labor for a completely finished bedroom and bath in 6 to 8 weeks, inside and outside including hauling away all debris and garbage after final inspection while I would supply the rest of the material which he would install.
    B.S. dragged the promised 6-8 week completion date to 11 weeks, Left without a final inspection and many unfinished tasks, including: Installing new Gutters, unfinished drywalls, unrepaired damaged ceiling, No attic access door and insulation, Unfinished closet frame, unfinished BR base boards, Doors without Knobs ...; Electrical: did not install inside and outside lighting, ceiling fan, smoke detectors...; Bathroom: Base Board Tiles and paint cleanup, cabinet, fixtures, vanity, sink plumbing...; Garbage cleanup: Left all kinds of garbage and damage to my property. Demanded all kinds of extra charges, claiming what I asked for was not what he generically quoted such as steps to the yard and the required landing for a raised foundation. With all the extra charges BS managed to collect more than the total agreed costs w/o finishing.
    BS took every opportunity to take shortcuts and cheapen the materials he was supposed to supply.

    BS short changed and abused his workers, two of whom quit without finishing and on three occasions I had to step in to stop them from fighting. One worker reported to me that BS, to that worker’s objections, had said “it is not your house, do as I say” . BS won’t even follow manufacturer supplied instructions and won’t correct it when his way comes out wrong. He yells and screams to confuse and distract and to get away with not doing his obligations as much as he can. BS did this with the city inspectors as well, which thankfully it didn’t work. BS insists on his version of an honor system in which he writes down as little as possible up to nothing at all, and insists on relying on memory which he uses to his advantage. Behroz Sarange is extremely rude, a compulsive liar and a con artist with major personality disorders. He will twist and turn everything and blames you and others for mistakes he makes regularly. BS has a cheating agenda every time he speaks, he cannot be trusted. Be warned, I absolutely advise against this guy Behroz Sarange / Menar Construction.
