Hired this contractor through thumbtack for my new home. Exterior paint went fine they refused to work with other contractors at the home and expected payment for the day with nothing getting done. Interior was a different story. First crew was sloppy rushed and didn’t primer most of the job. It had to essentially be redone. Was told they were fired and was told they will do extra work to make up for the mistake. Second crew comes in slightly less sloppy and rushed but with not wanting to work with other contractors in the home it caused issues and delayed the project. Pablo the ceo came said one thing Alek Bek came said one thing but none was done including the extra work to make up for the sloppy work. Communication became an issue and was blamed on us. With a grocery list of things still needed to be taken care of they requested the 80% payment prior to it being at 80% after both Pablo and Bek said they will not ask for it until they get to that point. But because communication was blamed on us they went back on their word snuck by to pick up the check without talking with us. And since they received that check they have not been back. Still a ton to be done and finished but with only 1400 left it seems like it’s not worth their time and are refusing to come back and finish their contract. I’m speaking with multiple people including my attorney and the better business bureau on what to do about this. But for now as they have removed themselves from thumbtack if you see this I would highly suggest taking your business to someone who holds up to their word and does the job they are hired to do.
