I paid John ahead of time. He completed half the job and then disappeared. I’ve been reaching out to him for two years now to complete the job. He’ll respond, and set up a day to come back, then disappears again. Avoid business with John Berglund- $1700

Do not use this bum!
I had a tree cut down and paid the price quoted.
He arrived late and left early left and never returned to finish the job.
He was will not answer the phone and allows his voicemail to fill up
so you can't leave him a message. Avoid John Berglund at all costs! -

Do not use. Do not use! Owner took full payment for job and never finished. Owner stopped answering calls to correct the situation and has failed to return to finish job. When owner did answer, which was not often, he had every excuse to include "the dog ate my homework". My wife was High School friend of owner. If he did this to someone he knows, what will he do to someone he does not.

John and his guys are the best. They gave us the best quote for the tree removal service and they did fantastic work. They even cleaned up the neighbors yard from some left over debris. I highly recommend them.

Please do not consider using John Berglund Tree Service. I received a quote to remove 2 trees from my back yard. John arrived late on a Friday to begin cutting down the trees. He ended his day early then approached my wife ask for money. My wife told him he would need to see one. I was late getting home but John decided to drive around until I arrived. When I got home I found my back yard a mess. He also decided to drive from my neighbors driveway across their lawn to my back yard without permission from them. When asked about this he lied and said he had asked them and they were okay with doing so. He also dropped branches and debris on the shed abd yard of the neighbor behind me and didn't bother to clean up the mess. John then asked for money. I offered 1/3 if the cost quoted and asked when he would be finished. He told me he would be back the next day. Of course he didn't show up. His bucket truck sat in my yard the entire weekend. He showed up again in Monday only for a few hours to finish the job of destroying my yard and the neighbors lawn. I have left several text messages and voicemails to no avail. It has been over a week now abd I am looking for someone to help me clean up the disaster John left behind. I only wish I had seen these reviews before allowing him to proceed.
Stay away from John Berglund and his Tree Service !!!!!!!
