    Roofing, gutters

Catherine 07/24/17. The huge hail storm left my house in a real mess. Big Rock was at my house the day after and stuck with me for every step of the repairs. They went above & beyond to help me work with the insurance adjuster to guarantee my roof, gutters, downspouts & gutter guards were included in my claim and completed the job in a very timely manner, Very professional and knowledgeable.

Even if you pay Big Rock, they don't pay their bills and you get

Paid Big Rock 95% of project two months ago. Had a supplement for insurance for the last 5% that insurance finally paid over a month ago. They have been paid in full for over a month. Received a Notice of Intent to File a Lien from Big Rock's roofing supplier for over 10% of what we already paid them. CAUTION TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS: BIG ROCK DOES NOT PAY THEIR BILLS and even if you pay Big Rock in full on time....you can still get a lein on your house. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!

    Big Rock

I was extremely excited to work with Big Rock. They responded quickly and came out to my home with a competitive bid. Unfortunately, that is where my excitement ended.

Overpromise and under deliver is what their tagline should be. I'd rather have a contractor be honest and say, "I'm sorry, we don't do that type of work." than to put me off for weeks (taking up precious time when I could have been working with another contractor) only to say they can't do the work. Very disingenuous.

I cannot say enough about how disappointed I was with their lack of responsiveness and communication. Their concrete subcontractor did an extremely poor job pouring our concrete steps and when I asked for the job to be redone, that's when the stonewalling began.

It's unfortunate that they have such a high rating on Build Zoom and BBB because I relied greatly on both sites. I can say that I had several neighbors inquire about my experience with Big Rock. They could have potentially had six or seven other clients.

Big Rock should stick to roofing. Apparently, that is all they do well.

Worst experience from people that haven't a clue about what they are doing.ZERO forethought into this project. All they do is hire the cheapest subs and make-up everything by a 30% margin. Took almost 7 months to build a 300 SF addition and overcharged by at least 40%!
HORRIBLE communication, texts and emails, never called until we were so unhappy, they had no other choice.
As well, Big Rock did NOT even pay the sales rep on this job that he was present on almost EVERY day of the 6 month+ project.
How can a "company" overcharge SO much than average contractor then refuse to pay their employees?
I recommend you use a real contractor and leave these bottom feeders alone or the same scenario will most likely happen to you!
NOW YOU KNOW HOW THEY ALL DRIVE THOSE RIDICULOUS VEHICLES ALL OVER, RIPPED-OFF CUSTOMERS PAY FOR THEM!
Very Very terrible experience and If I could do one thing over, it'd be to NEVER have contacted Big ROck, or is it Big Joke cause that is all they are!

Big Rock Roofing & Exteriors is a great company! We needed a new roof in a hurry. The extremely nice and knowledgeable contractor came out for an estimate the next day, called the insurance company for us, and made the entire process painless. The roofers were out to our home within the next two days and did a fantastic job. They were done quickly and cleaned up everything down to the last nail. The billing specialists worked with us and made us feel at ease. We would definitely recommend Big Rock to family and friends!

We had our roof replaced on 2/12/2013 by BIG ROCK ROOFING. They are fantastic, from the great office staff, to the install team that put on my beautiful roof. My neighbors ask why does my roof look better than the rest. "I said because its a BIG ROCK Roof " it's nice to be the envey of the neighborhood. They also handled my insurance claim. A great experience from start to finish.
