Save yourself from years of anxiety, stress, sleepless nights and depression and DO NOT HIRE BILL KENNEY! I don't know if it's because Bill is an ex "KC football" player or if it's just who he is, but he presents himself to be entitled to treat people disrespectfully, with little or no regard to a persons knowledge of acceptable workmanship, particularly with women. Be prepared to stand your ground to the fullest because he'll try his best to intimate you into accepting poor quality materials and worse, extremely POOR workmanship...all of which you paid him reallllly good $$ for. And definitely don't give ANY amount of $ to Bill upfront. Badddd mistake. I hope my post opens the door for others to feel comfortable de-masking this man as there is no way there aren't others out there experiencing the same horrible, exhausting, experience. You most definitely do not get what you pay for. Building a new house should be an exciting, pleasant experience with some minor bumps...not significant MAJOR bumps with every room you walk into...not in a brand new house! Bill takes your hard earned $$$ and then hires under-paid, under-qualified help...who, as a result of being under-paid and under-qualified, produce under-paid/under-qualified workmanship. Bill cuts corners in any way that he possibly can, hoping you don't notice. And when you do notice, watch out! He doesn't want to hear about it. He'll listen momentarily, until you start to recognize one mistake after another, after another, after another, which he tries to convince you are, what he refers to as "standard imperfections". These were most definitely not standard imperfections, they were significant problems that resulted from repeatedly poor workmanship, Bill not overseeing his projects, and Bill admit-tingly, as he stated "...didn't pay attention to the spec sheet" (the technical document that sets out the details of how, exactly, certain things are supposed to be done) because according to him, "...they hardly ever pay attention to that". Whattt?? That blew my mind. Honest truth. And the more things you find wrong, the more he'll begin treating you like the problems are with you...that the problems only exist in your mind. Bill is a bully. He uses intimidation and distraction tactics in efforts to quiet you down and accept the poor quality of work. So as mentioned, be ready to stand your ground with great confidence and support from family and friends. These 100's of problems were mistakes, mistakes that his company made, mistakes that he should have willingly corrected but chose to defend. And why? Because fixing them would cost him $. Please, don't hire this man to build you a home. If it's a home he's already built, like a show home, or a past home he personally lived in, you might be ok as he surely wouldn't cut corners there. Bill Kenney puts up a good front but please consider my review. I wouldn't have taken so much time to create this submission if I wasn't trying to help protect others from the same awful experience. Save yourself!
