  I am adding to the existing reviews of this company, because although Pat was chosen by our G.C. we watched him build us a treasure. When my wife and I first saw our CAD designs they were inspiring. But we were soon to find out just how beautiful quality craftsmanship truly can be. From the first time Pat was introduced to us we knew we were in great hands. We could feel his dedication to his craft. And although it wasn't designed by him, he brought it to life. the finish product is absolutely stunning. Also both our G.C. and our architect felt the same way, he was so easy and professional to work with. By the time the project was finished we felt like he cared as much about our new home as we ourselves do. Truly rare in this day and age of contractors full of arguments and excuses for lack of quality. He was on schedule at every turn and never once came to us with extra or hidden costs. What he bid to our G.C. we paid. Our guests who come here often guess it to have cost twice what we paid, based on how serine and beautiful our our door living spaces look and feel. In this day and age of budgets versus desires Black Diamond Construction truly will give you an amazing look for the cost that feels fair and just.

  turn our yard into a resort experience

  We had already paid two landscape architechs to try and give us the design to fit our vision, but were left wanting on both attempts. When a friend of ours who just had his house completed in the Strands of Dana Point recommended Black Diamond. My wife and I met with Patrick the owner told him our hopes and dreams and explained about the already existing attempts to accomplish this vision. he asked for a week to work a design up in CAD and at our 2nd meeting we were amazed at what he had designed. The best part was it came in under the budget we gave him to work from. That was just the start of the best contracting experience we have had in the 4 homes we have built. His men were clean and curtious, dressed in company shirts and showed up every day. They respected the fact that even though our house was under construction it was still our home and kept the site clean and orderly. The quality was absolute artistry. We get complements every time someone see's it. Every one wants to come to our house for street parties because it has such a resort feel. We truly have a staycation home. All we can say is 5 stars doesn't do his design justice.. He is a true artist

  Black Diamond came heavily recommended to us, and their craftmanship made us a customer for life. We had hired a Landscape architect, but after several attemps we were unable to get them to create a design that moved us. After only a short meeting, (Pat) the owner sketched a design freehand in our library that had the exact direction we were looking for. Needless to say He took that from sketch to c.a.d. and all the way through to an amazing finish product. All this with no delays and no extra charges. They gifted us a beautiful luxury resort feel. All our friends are truly moved every time they visit. It can only be discribed as breath taking. If we had a choice we would choose 100 stars.
