This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. We learned a lot of what not to do or red flags to watch for if we ever felt like we could endure this again. We chose them because we felt like we could trust Darin. But overall, it did not feel like he was on our “team” and that we were just a side gig to keep a steady flow while his attention was elsewhere. They do a lot of the work themselves rather than using subs but they do not manage their time well for how small the crew is. We rarely saw them and when they did come they always left the job unfinished and would forget about it when they’d come back weeks later. As a result, we were left with a bunch of unfinished things. We were stupid enough to have paid anyway because we were desperate to get things done with a new baby, school from home, and a husband working at home. Which also brings up another point that by the end, despite having a long list of items needing attention, we were so sick and tired of the time it would take to get them to come start, finish, fix, or clean up something so we just stopped asking. It was a lose-lose. We also asked for invoices from the beginning but never saw any. We bought the home with visions to eventually add on and had dreamed about the addition for years but the entire experience was awful. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend them.

Not a good experience overall. Terrible communication and unfinished work. Darin is a very nice person, skilled, and knowledgeable, but he is unorganized and will forget many of the details that we tell him. He is way too busy with other projects. I would not recommend.
