  We hired Blue Moon Builders/Corey Boucher Sept 8 2022. to do a job late Sept/Early Oct. After he received our deposit and time came to do the job, he would not return any calls or text and a reply to emails were slow. What was told was going to be done was never followed through. If he wasnt able to do the job we asked for either the material or our deposit back. He promised the material and just like the rest of the promises to get it to us, nothing has transpired and he is again not responding to calls or texts. We have emails promising delivery, then told we can pick it up, followed by excuses why he needed to change the pick up and again no response since 03/15

  I couldn't be more pleased with the replacement vinyl siding work Corey and his team did for us. They were professional, extremely knowledgeable, communicated timeline adjustments when applicable due to low supply/high demand items, kept the yard very tidy and exceeded our expectations in every way. They truly made us fall in love with our home all over again!

  Windows and Siding

  I second the review above only mine is even a worse case scenario. I contracted Corey Boucher and Blue Moon builders to do windows and siding on my house in June of 2021 with a promise of being done by before snow. I emailed Corey numerous times, tried texting and got blown off consistently. The only time that Corey was responsive with me was when it was time to get the deposit for the job. Well as time goes on come September I email Corey numerous times to figure out when the job is going to start and he maybe answered 1 time for every 4 or 5 emails that I sent to him. All he kept telling me is we are coming and on a couple occasions blatantly lied to me about getting materials and or dumpsters delivered to my house. We long story short Come November 20th he finally had a crew show up at the house and had a dumpster delivered. His crew completely tore my house apart for about 1 week, ripping down the old shakes and actually put up a bit of flashing under the eves of my roof, but did not complete that. We are now in March of 2022 and my house is still torn apart and for lack of a better term he has completely ghosted me. Other than the occasional we are coming I do not hear anything from him. I highly recommend to never hire this contractor what ever you do, unless you want to deal with being ignored and lied to and having the feeling that you money has been stolen. Even if he does come and finish the job, I would never recommend doing business with Corey and Blue Moon Builders in Gilford NH

  I would not recommend Blue Moon Builders if you don’t like working with a contractor who ties up your deposit for greater then six months from signing of contract, tells you they will be on the job site tomorrow and a week goes by, two weeks, a month, two months, three, .... six to seven months later they start the job, you have a 10 year warranty for labor and an issue pops up and you are told “I’ll be there this week”....a week goes by, two weeks, three weeks, a month........no one one shows up to address the issue that is supposed to be warranted. I don think my expectations are any different then any other consumer who is looking to hire someone who is responsible, tries to make a sincere effort to keep to a schedule, communicates in a timely manner, and backs up what they agree to do. These are not the characteristics I experienced from hiring Corey Boucher owner of Blue Moon Builders. Signed a contract with Corey Boucher of Blue Moon Builders for a roof replacement in April/May 2020. He started the roof in November 2020. Completed the roof after the New Years week in January 2021.There was a call back the 2nd week of Jan due to a leak from installing improper vent pipe boot. Corey did address as water was coming in through the roof and side wall where the vent pipe was located, That was the quickest he ever responded to any of my calls during the duration of the project - which I thanked him. In March 2021 I noticed one of the roof peaks ridge vents has a larger then normal gap along the vent. I had another builder on premise working on my deck who observed the same and confident in saying you should get your roofer back over to tie it (nail) down or you could get rain or snow melt in the ceiling of the home. I asked Corey if he could repair and Cory responded “this week”. As of this writing the issue has not been addressed. This gap has recently introduced another issue..an entrance for bats to enter our house as recently recorded on one of the security cams. In raising this to Corey’s attention he has shown no concern or urgency to repair.
