He is very unprofessional & shrewd contractor. He knows all the legal tricks as well. His work quality is also horrible & very disorganized. He would give you lower estimate only to increase the price in the middle of the project by giving some random bills. I paid him too much in advance & got stuck with him. I had a horrible experience working with Arlindo Borges.

Hiring Arlino Borges was a huge mistake. I got him through Home Advisors. He seemed like a pleasant person but once hired and paid, he did not show up when he promised, several days he was watching soccer games with his friends and another day he went looking at houses with his wife (yes he was that stupid to tell me that). He has a terrible work ethic. Then he leaves all the debris from the remodeling job in the garage and I have to hire someone else to remove it. To make matters worse, the tiles he installed (in the shower) were crooked, they probably looks straight to him because he partied all night long with his buddies. Then it took him two more weeks to install the shower door. At this point I was just happy to be rid of him. He is a terrible construction worker.
