We have contracted with CCR Services on 2 different projects. This company is also is also affiliated with Boulder Exteriors LLC. The remodel in 2018 was wonderful. Hired the company again for a garage addition, siding and roofing. The company has new ownership. This time around the experience has been and still is not good. Contracted with CCR in January 2020 and was told by Dale that work would begin as soon as the ground thawed in 2020. Contacted him back several times to see when the project would begin. At the end of September we sent a message saying if the work don’t begin by October 1st we would be cancelling the project. Amazingly the work began on October 1st (6 months after the thaw). Then no one showed back up for weeks. No communication. We contacted Dale who is the owner of the company. He had our portion of the money required to get the materials ordered and begin work. It is now nearing the end of April 2021. It has been stressful to say the least. Communication, lack of organization, slow to get work done with messages saying, It’s been weeks - when will someone be coming to work on our home?” There have been change of employees, piles of supplies laying in the yard, not ordering materials in a timely manner (knowing things are taking much longer than usual), excuse after excuse, and we still have a long way to go. We own our own business. We understand there are circumstances that are out of our control. This is more. Our remodel/addition has not been a priority. We do not feel like a valued customer. An entire neighborhood has gone up down the road from us. Contractors give us business cards to complete the work as they drive by our home everyday and don’t see progress being made in a timely manner. Dale is a nice guy overwhelmed with his business. When asking recently when something would be done his reply was “I have a company to run” which is not an answer a customer wants to hear especially when work is not getting done. We just want this whole experience to be done so we can move on. Would not recommend this company to anyone. This has been a sad, stressful, costly, and frustrating experience nearly every step of the way. What should be about a four month process (according to other contractors giving us business cards) is now at a year and a half.
