  Window replacement

  $2,300

  HORRIBLE! Check BBB before using this company. He has stolen $6000 from another and now has stolen $2300 from me. He came to my home on 2/27/22 and took 1/2 upfront payment to order new windows. Fred said the windows would take 6 weeks to arrive. It's now 2/7/23 and I have no windows or my $2300 back. Fred tried to say he is divorcing and selling his home- these have nothing to do with my money being stolen a year ago. DO NOT USE HIM!

  Fence

  $3,400

  Don't waste your time like I did. Hired Fred's company to install aluminum fence. After a month of excuses and having to call/text multiple times to even get a reply, the fence materials were finally in. He said he was coming to install on a Saturday. Text him that morning to find out what time he would be at the house...he said he would ask the installer and let me know. Didn't hear from him after that. Never showed. Tried calling and texting. Waste of my time. I could of had my fence installed already by another company.

  change Siding -deck and stairs remodeling

  I contracted this company to replace the damaged porch of my house. I trusted the company to do the job and the owner Fred (or Frederico Barbosa) assured me that they would change the bad wood, hand rails and secure the deck. Also, they were supposed to install 3 posts that would have made the deck a non hazard because he noticed that the deck didn't comply with safety codes.
  They finished the job and I paid. I did this work because I am in the process of selling the house and knew I had to repair the deck. When the inspector inspected the house he showed me that the deck wasn't secure for new owner and need not only the reinforcements but to change the wood underneath. He pointed out that the only thing that they did was to change part of the wood and also they used the wrong nails (for trim not for decks)
  they don't installed the posts with the necessary reinforcements and the wood had begun to came apart. I spoke with the contractor and he told me that since the job was done by a subcontractor, he couldn't be responsible. I was frustrated, and he finally spoke with the subcontractor who put some reinforcements in but again used the wrong nails and the wrong reinforcements and didn't change the bad wood underneath. The contractor told me that I've been "picky" and he was not willing to correct the issue. Finally I had to contract another Deck specialist to finish the job in the right way.
