I enlisted Risk Home Improvement LLC after receiving a quote of $750 for a full day's work to complete a project spanning approximately 80 square feet. Putting down Click Lock Waterproof Luxury Vinyl Plank
Flooring, subfloor and fixing around door. Unfortunately, this experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.
What troubles me the most is Rusk Home Improvements' unethical suggestion that I pay in cash to avoid taxes. I, being disabled and reliant on a limited income, trusted their recommendation, hoping to save some much-needed money. However, upon reflection, I realize this suggestion was not only dishonest but potentially illegal as well.
Furthermore, Rusk Home Improvements failed to complete the project within the promised timeframe. Ultimately costing me $1250 for that tiny area in just labor. I was responsible for getting all materials, cleaning his mess and making runs to hardware store. Again this was another money saver per Bret the owner. His work was “Shotty”, covering up floor that did not go to wall with my washing machine. Cracked trim he broke and covered up with glue. I have since had boards come loose, flooding under and around door. He flat out refused to give me insurance information for damage to my home. Do not hire this Person who claims he knows what he is doing!
