  I hired Brian moody and sons to build a composite deck. Paid him half down 7,000 dollars and the other half at completion of deck. They started on the deck in oct.2018 and per the contract was to be finished by Nov.14th 2018 they finished half the deck and that part was so terrible that it needs to be replaced because of all the scratches on the deck boards from them walking all over with dirt and mud on there shoes. The benches and stairs and ramp were never finished. the last time they worked on deck was on Dec 12th 2018 they took all my deck boards which I had paid for and have not seen them to this date of 01/10/2019.i have called them and e-mailed them with no response, there web site has been shut down. There employees have not been paid. They have filed claims with L&I to get there money. I will be getting with my attorney to file my claim against him.

  I hired Moody and son in August to remodel and build on. They said it would be done in 5 weeks. It is now November. They didn't get permits, did horrible work. Halfway through the job I paid them $70,000. They took my money and ran. They won't answer my phone calls. We had to hire a lawyer.

  This contractor does work under the table without permits. They took $70,000 from us and ABANDONED the project. They just quit showing up. They scammed us. We have hired lawyers but they refuse to complete the job! Worst contractor in Washington. Beware!

  When Brian came out to give me a bid, I was positive his bid, like others I've had before him, would be in the multi-thousand $$$$ range, which put it way out of my budget. Every estimator told me the entire deck needed replacing because the wood, down to the foundation, was rotted. Brian checked all of it, and told me the foundation was sound, and all the deck needed was a "facelift". The crew came in, sanded it down to bare wood, and then applied a redwood stain. WELL! All I can say now, after the work is complete, that my deck looks like a BRAND NEW deck! As a matter of fact, I don't think it looked this good when it WAS brand new! The best decision I've ever made was to hire Brian & Son to renovate my deck! Most importantly, the job cost me IN TOTAL approx. one-fifth of the cost from the other companies who bid this job. In the future, I'll save lots of $$$$$ and time to hire Brian first as there is no reason on the planet to shop further! PS: The very first thing he did was check the foundation first to be sure it was very solid. Hiring Brian Moody and Son was the BEST decisions I've ever made! Thanks Brian and crew.
