Terrible rating is a compliment for this scumbag. Every single construction element that Brookins Construction built for us (cement work, plumbing, drainage, masonry, electrical) failed and had to be demolished, removed, re-done, replaced and re-constructed in order to meet functional, structural, minimally acceptable and approved inspected State codified building standards. He and his amateur crew across the board are a living nightmare. Scott Brookins circumvented every required County inspection for Foundation, Framing, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical and Final. He evaded the County Inspector who tried to reach him for over one (1) month in order to discuss such gross errors but could not track him down. The Inspector’s sign-off inspection sheet was not displayed on-site for either Owner or Inspector to review – because no County inspections or approvals had been made. In 40 years of business throughout the US and abroad, we have never seen such shockingly shoddy workmanship, gross negligence, professional incompetence, non-performance, bad faith and plain incapacity to deliver even the lowest expectation of professional workmanship. Spending a mere one (1) day per week actually on the work site, Scott Brookins directive was to do the absolute minimum, as cheap as possible, in the shortest amount of time … then get out of town fast. This miserable contractor crook should be barred from any work throughout all 50-States, fined and incarcerated. He is the most deplorable, reprehensible and incompetent liar we have ever encountered anywhere. Customer beware of this preying wolf in sheep’s clothing !
