    I am absolutely taken aback (and skeptical) of the two bad reviews I see of Books Construction. Steve has done multiple jobs for us and every one of them has been a showcase for his amazing imagination, knowledge, and perfection to detail. I can also personally confirm the comment about Steve's being "honest even when it's not best for him." I have been privileged to see that on several occasions over the years. He is truly - TRULY - an honest and honorable man, as well as an absolutely superlative builder. The ONLY thing at all negative I can think of to say is that he is so much in demand - because of what I've described above - that yes, it does require patience to get on his schedule. I wish I knew who the complainers were because I would absolutely love to speak with them, to learn more about their experience. Their comments seem incredible to me because Steve has been the 'go to' person for several quite wealthy, quite picky customers for many years. Please do not be put off by those two comments. You would be in excellent hands, if you are fortunate enough to obtain Steve's services. He deserves far more than 5 stars, he is a rarity in today's business world.

    ive worked with brooks construction for a long time and they are real good guys and the owner is actually very honest even when its not best for him, that in my book is worth more than slick saleman in fancy cloths

    unprofessional at best. Stay away!! It is too long of a nightmare to get into but trust me - poor work, unprofessional and non responsive.
