    Basement Remodel

We met with Bryan late last summer to discuss a complete basement project that included a full bath, bar area bedroom and living area. The attention to detail and overall quality is second to none. Bryan and his workers are very professional from start to finish. I would recommend him for a quality job!

    Exterior Wood Replacement
    $7,224

We do NOT recommend Wellwood Construction.
Bryan Wellwood provided us a proposal for exterior wood repairs which stipulated: 1) the rental of scaffolding, 2) materials to begin the job (not itemized), and 3) labor. We were asked to pay an up-front deposit for work to commence. This company came highly recommended to us from another contractor whom we had come to respect and trust.
Wellwood had promised to provide three full-time workers but this never materialized. A majority of the job was worked by one individual left to struggle with material and heavy equipment on his own. So, work proceeded at a snail’s pace.
The initial material delivery scheduled for 5/16/2022 was not as described in the initial contract (he claimed to have reserved material in the amount of $2345.00 on the evening of 5/12/2022 in order to be on site for his 3 carpenters to start first thing on 5/16/2022). Instead, he showed up mid-morning on 5/16/2022 with one bundle of six boards that were the wrong size. Material for the job was intermittently purchased and parsed out thereafter. We later learned that he purchased the lowest grade of material possible on our behalf.
Large sections of the delivered scaffolding equipment went unused.
We immediately felt that Wellwood did not have the ability to manage our job, so we began carefully documenting labor and material usage.
By 6/7/2022, one man was still largely allocated with little progress and so before they dismantled our house any further, we requested that Wellwood stop work and provide an invoice for labor, material and equipment to date.
We have repeatedly asked for a final invoice via email, text and US mail. We were met with a myriad of excuses for the delay in delivering a final bill, and then Bryan Wellwood stopped communicating altogether.
With our careful documentation of labor, equipment and material consumed, we estimate that we have a credit due back to us of several thousand dollars.

    Kitchen
    $28,000

Absolutely Not, He does not finish his jobs. Not to mention will puts second hand products in while charging you for high end products. He is not an honest man professionally or to his family.

    Kitchen remodel

Bryan was personally referred by a salesperson at Lowe's to remodel our kitchen. We met with him twice before beginning our project, and we found him to be both knowledgeable and gentlemanly. Bryan's sub-contractors were all top-notch and did outstanding work.
Our only criticism is that the project ran several weeks beyond the projected deadline.
We were very pleased with Bryan and his team, and we have used them on a second project, replacing windows. I expect to call him again for future projects.

Very shady contractor, be aware. I ordered real wood and found out he took my real wood and put fake wood in. Very dishonest guy!!
