I would never recommend Victor Hegman owner of Buccaneer Construction to anyone - I couldn't despise a person enough. He demands payment up front which should have been my first clue as to what to expect. I hired him in February to remodel a kitchen, two bathrooms, and paint the interior. I was without a kitchen sink and stove for over THREE MONTHS as well as the tub and commode in the guest bath. Seven months later I still have no vanity or sink in the guest bath. Master bath was not touched after I saw the work quality. He charges premium prices and gives the lowest quality work possible. The work is SUBPAR. Check out the BBB complaints. DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR. Nothing was completed. He even tried charging me to haul the trash (3-4 trucks loads at $85/load) when his contract says they clean up all debris and haul off. I had to do it on my own. Nothing is completed. He refuses to return money owed me that he absolutely did nothing on. His famous words are "We have a valid contract." That should work both ways. We are going to court to let the judge decide if I have to accept shoddy work to live up to my contract. Save yourself time, money and headaches by avoiding this company.
