Travis Windel Foster
This is a review of Travis Foster and his construction companies, Build Charlotte &Copper Construction Co.
We hired Travis Foster to do a major renovation on our home by pushing a wall out 14' on two floors as well as renovating two bathrooms. Travis was almost never at our house to monitor the work of his crew or his sub-contractors.
His work was so poor and so sub-standard, we filed a complaint with the NC Licensing Board of General Contractors. That inquiry resulted in Travis Foster being found guilty of work that did not meet Iredell County Building Code and he was reprimanded (February 2025). This is not the first time he has been reprimanded.
He abandoned our project without finishing and refused to complete any work on our 1-year builder's warranty (required by law).
We had to hire our own electrician, painter, flooring company, dry-waller, roofer, HVAC and plumber to fix all the horrible work Travis Foster did on our house.
Do not hire this man or anyone affiliated with Build Charlotte, LLC or Copper Construction. Contact me for any other details.
