Caltek was hired by Lowes to do my Kitchen Remodel and subsequently FIRED. Mark, owner, is very unresponsive and does not communicate well and leaves work unfinished for weeks at a time. Mark and his son showed up at my house for a few hours a couple times a week, left all their trash piled up in my garage, and never did a single job correctly. Here is a small list of some of the things Caltek did:
- measured for countertops incorrectly, set completion schedule back over a month.
- rewired kitchen incorrectly - left us without AC for two weeks, blamed the AC unit when it was his lack of electoral knowledge that was the issue. The entire kitchen must be redone now because it isn't wired correctly. Thanks for that Mark.
- Forgot dishwasher under mount.
- Recessed lighting installed out of alignment- does not take responsibility and blames customer.
- Lied to Lowes and said he had grouted my tile that had been sitting for a week. Still not grouted.
- The install work that Mark and his son accomplished for my kitchen has to be redone because it was done so poorly.
Save your money, time and stress and don't hire Caltek construction.
