I was really disappointed with Carlson Sheet Metal. After three months of trying to work with them on a project I needed metal fabrication for and after going in person to their business, many emails and phone calls, I had to give up. I tried one last time to work with them by going in person today to inquire about my project. After finding out that the employee I’d been speaking with was out of town, I asked to speak with someone else for an update on my project. The only person available was the owner who was astoundingly dismissive and condescending and told me bluntly that he takes care of his most important clients first, which I was not, and if I was lucky, my project would be three months out, and that he actually wouldn’t commit to that timeline either. I should also state he never once asked my name. I’ve rarely been so shocked by such horrible customer service and I expressed that to him. He replied with a shrug and said that their business was three months out on projects so there’s no shortage of customers.
