  Chris was paving in my neighborhood and offered to redo my driveway for $2900.00 install a new drain one wider as he pointed out since i do get water in the garage after heavy rain. The first thing i noticed is he brought a drain that was actually only about 2 inches wide when the original was about 4 inches i was expecting mayge 6 inches for starters. They asphalt the drive way and i do a quick inspection i noticed the newly installed drain dosent look right sure enough the track isnt installed properly not even close he said he needed access to the garage he would be back to finish also the old drain he would dispose when he brings his truck. That was the last i saw of Chris shabby work low quality had i seen these reviews i would have sent him on his way ...

  Chris you are horrible and I will be seeing you in court I see that you have several numerous bad reviews you picked the wrong person to steal from because you will do the work for me or you will be going to court you know who I am if you are a man of your word you will fix my driveway thank you have a great day

  I just fell into the bad work of this company, they are very unprofessional, poor quality, and less than two months later the asphalt is crumbling away, many areas are cracking some potholes, calling him many times he didn’t answer the phone.
  All those who have been victims of this man Chris T. Owner of CATs Paving and Excavating. I am seeking the advice of a lawyer to open a case in court. We are all going to unite so that the irresponsibility of that man is over and that he is over scamming people. Please contact me let's join our cases in court, write me [email protected] No matter the size and cost of the work he did for you this is the only way we will put a stop to this irresponsible.

  Horrible.
  My story is the same as everyone else.
  Did a terrible job and it’s uneven and crumbling in less than a year, with grass growing through it.
  What a shame.
  Never tarred the edges. Poor quality asphalt. Most likely the cheapest grade he could get to make a fast $.
  I’d rate him as a negative star if there was one.

  Grading and Paving

  Horrible - I thought at first it looked pretty good but within 3 months numerous areas of the driveway is crumbling away, some areas are cracking and I have 1 pot hole starting in an area that we don't drive on! I have contacted Him multiple times with no response......... The same with us as I see with everyone else as far as saying he needed money right away to make payroll.....

  Utilize his leftover material on our driveway that needed freshening

  $1,200

  Showed up at my house last August, with left over material and gave my wife a quote as we did need work on ours. I did not go home and that was a mistake as they did a lousy job, did not even roll or tamp down numerous areas of the driveway and it is crumbling now due to no impacting the material. Steer clear of this guy!!

  He bugged me for two years to do my road and finally when I said yes he does a half ass job never finished the job and cryed he needed the money to make his payroll and stupidly and against my better judgement I gave him a check which he went right to the bank and cashed within ten minutes. I texted him many times after he said I will be there tomorrow and guess who never shows back up or responds. This man needs to be stopped.

  It was a terrible experience he gave me a quote for a job last season he bugged me to get it done I didn’t last season I finally gave in this season when he bug me again and then he does half the job gets full amount of money crying I have to pay my payrolll I need money he then proceeds to says I should charge you more money and never ever ever came back to finish the job. he’s a big liar and he’s horrible don’t ever use him

  Did my in laws and my driveway. Paving was uneven and extremely thin in sections. Grass was growing through the black top within a week. He stopped by to take a look and said he would be back and never showed up. His driver destroyed our yard with their truck and my father in law had to fix it. On top of that there was massive chunks of waste asphalt throughout my yard, for which he said he would have his guys clean up and never did. To make matters worse his guys borrowed my propane tank for their machine and left without returning it. After a month of trying to get it back, his guys dropped it off at my work. It was not my tank and it was empty. The guy ran to the door, dropped it, and then ran back to the truck and took off. So after all of this, the owner Chris has since blocked all of out numbers and ignored all of our calls. The job was completed in April and that was the last we have seen of him.
