  granite countertops

  This company is terrible, they came out and measured for my countertops a month ago and because of 'problems with machinery and personnel' they again postpone my install date. I am a contractor with a client that needs this work done to sell the house and now it sits. this is not the first time this company has delayed my job for the same reasons but I can assure you it will be the last.

  Pick up 2 large slabs from Arizona Tile I personally picked out and had ordered.
  Seal granite with 15 year warranty Sealant I purchased from Arizona Tile
  Cut & Install granite with back splashes measuring 11 1/2 ", 38", 22", 19"
  Back splash above kitchen cabinet & under window to have back splash up to window edge and granite on the actual window sill.
  Seven electrical cutouts and Undermount dbl sink.

  VERY UNHAPPY with CCM Enterprises "services". The granite was initially "installed" on 12/03/2010...but they had to return 12/09/2010 and 12/17/2010 to do the job as contracted (no chips...cut to contract specs..etc...) They measured and installed granite wrong & large 2 inch chip on front edge of the granite near the sink that they filled with grey grout. Numerous calls to get them to do the job right!
  I called CCM Enterprises regarding my cracked granite..Ben Hanvey stated "Well I can come out super glue it & polished it up for you, but it's going to cost you lady"....then added I had a “1 year labor warranty”. No where in contract is any mention of any warranty..(except on sealant), nor was anything signed or initialed by me to this effect. A year later, CCM sent me a copy of the 1 year warranty, and told me "it was supposed to be included in your contract, we screwed up" Most important.. after having multiple problems I had several stone restoration experts and granite fabricators over to inspect/evaluate my granite. Those evals revealed even more disturbing problems. Quote "You paid for a custom job, but got what looks like a China prefab job"
  Very Important! CCM did not have the licensed classification to even install granite in Dec 2010! They only had a D12 classification on their contractor's license...that is vinyl, fiberglass, epoxy & plastic tile only. Since installing my granite, CCM Enterprises changed their name, got a new license, and I can't file a complaint with the BBB or with the CSLB because the license they had at the time states "no longer in business". CCM has changed their business license 3 times since in business, slightly change their Company name to avoid negative reports on the CSLB and BBB.
  AND...to add to this.... CCM Enterprises NEVER REGISTERED my granite for the 15 year sealant warranty, which they charged me $75 for! Now, Ariz Tile tells me I do NOT have ANY warranty!
  There were several seams that were not on the CONTRACT from their field measurement, Told by Virginia Jaggi "seams are at our discretion" Gray grout used on all the seams on "Volga Blue" (black) granite!. ...AND... installed the granite onto a kitchen cabinet that was not centered by the cabinet maker... CCM Enterprises installed anyway, despite now my granite back splash did not meet the counter top by 3 inches. Told me later they knew it the day they measured and upon installation. I had to have CCM remove that granite...make Generation Contracting redo the cabinet, and compromised with CCM Enterprises on the re-installation because now the electrical cutout didn't match up with the back splash.
  ALSO...measured granite wrong above the oven and wanted me to agree to mount a wood board onto to the granite in order to install the microwave! It took several calls to get them back to cut the granite to the contracted measurements!
  Less than 13 months from "installation" and the granite cracked from the inside of my dbl sink to the bullnose edge. CCM ENDED REIMBURSING ME THE TOTAL $5,265..BUT WANTED ME TO SIGN A "CONFIDENTIALITY CLAUSE", which I refused to sign.

  REVIEW? PLEASE READ! I have been VERY unhappy with CCM "services". First, they measured the granite wrong and wanted me to agree to mount a wood board onto to the granite in order to install the microwave! They cut & installed the granite to fit 17 inches for the microwave...but the specs on contract stated 15 inches. It took several calls to get them back to cut the granite to the contracted measurements. In addition there was a 2 inch chip/chunk at one of the seams...their idea to repair it was to fill it in with gray grout... AGAIN...numerous calls to get them to do the job right! Google granite "Volga Blue"...very obvious gray grout wasn't going to be acceptable! Unbelievable!.... The granite was initially "installed" on 12/03/2010...but they had to return 12/09/2010 and 12/17/2010 to do the job as contracted (no chips...cut to contract specs..etc...) Now, it is less than 13 months from "installation" and the granite is cracked from the inside of my dbl sink to the bullnose edge. I didn't even use the kitchen sink until after 12/27/2010! My first call was to "Arizona Tile", the slab yard I purchased my granite from. They instructed me to call CCM, stating "if the granite was improperly sealed around the sink, water may have seeped into the plywood that supports the granite top....and warped the plywood underneath...thus expanding and cracking the granite". I called CCM 12/28/2011 and was told by Alicia she would speak to the owner "Cody" & return my call 01/02/2012. ... No surprise...no calls....despite myself calling CCM daily and leaving msgs. I finally spoke to Alicia on 01/05/2012 (after I again repeatedly called and left messages), and was told "Cody" would be sending me a copy of their "One year Limited Labor Warranty". Mind you.....NO WHERE is anything stated in my contract about a 1 year labor warranty.....or for that matter a "7 day warranty.....30 day warranty.."..etc. Pretty convenient my "warranty" expired after I told them when it was installed...They would have quoted any time frame that benefited them.. .More important.. I DID NOT sign anything regarding any warranty EXCEPT the 15 yr warranty on the sealant (which I paid extra for). I too,am a small business owner, and am appalled at the lack of integrity of CCM's workmanship, combined with their rude customer service, I welcome anyone to contact me to review my contract with CCM, or inspect my granite counters installed by CCM. Before you hire CCM to do any work...PLEASE come see for yourself! Save yourself time, heartache and hard earned money!
