    I would recommend them for the architectural part of the project, however I would have a separate expediter with a lot of experience with building in Brooklyn/NYC as the laws and rules have changed so fast and we ended up paying for a lot of extras that we later learned were completely unnecessary. They are great architects and have vision, you just have to have someone on board who understands permits and what laws and regulations pertain to your project or you will be waiting 2 years like we had to! They were a young firm at the time and I'm guessing now, they have a smoother system and understand the new laws better then when we did our project.

    I highly recommend Co-Adaptive. They are my architects for a complete gut renovation of an row house. We are building a Certified Passive House, and Co-Adaptive specializes in Passives houses. They are fantastic people.
