We hired this company to build deck with a hand rail in back of the house. We did pay him the required deposit and money at the start of work as contracted. Prior to the final decking being installed the salesperson called us and said the owner didn't want to build the handrail we contracted but wanted to sell us an upscale elaborate hand rail for $1500 which was not necessary according to County Code. He would not deliver the final decking until we decided on the handrail. We said "we have a contract" and the response was “the boss doesn't care about the contract.” He wouldn't even talk to us. The sales person said he doesn't like to be disturbed. We did not buy their $1500 handrail. They did credit us for the original handrail but now we are having a problem finding a contractor who will only build a handrail. It’s a small job. My husband is handicapped and cannot enjoy the deck until a handrail is built. I would not recommend this company.
