We recently moved into a new development, so had zero backyard. After deciding on a paver patio and a decomposed granite path around the house, we contacted several different companies. We met with Martin Herrera who took the time to help us consider different options and materials for both patio and path. Once we decided on a design, we scheduled a date to start the work. Although delayed just a bit due to all things 2020/2021 (Covid). when Martin and his crew arrived on scene, they more than made up for it by doing a great job, working neatly and efficiently. The work crew was great and Martin stopped by the next week to check it out himself. The finished product is wonderful, now we wait for some warmer weather to enjoy it! Wow We are so in love with our backyard.
We did a lot of research and got numerous estimates with different people and companies. We met with Martin Herrera who answered all our questions and was NOT pushy like some of the other people we talked to. He was kind and patient and walked us through everything including his plans while incorporating all ideas into it. His estimate was very fair and a lot less expensive than some of the other ones we received.
Martin and his team were able to start our backyard in a very reasonable time and were done quickly! If I had any questions, everyone was quick to respond via email, text, or phone. We were so impressed with how friendly and efficient his team was. The quality of their work was fantastic.
I can not recommend Colima Landscaping enough! Take a look at the pictures to see the transformation on all my homes he has worked on so far.

Colima Landscape did an incredible transformation of my front yard. I was getting tired of looking at a dull front yard and I asked Colima Landscape for some ideas. He created this beautiful front yard for me and I have had nothing but compliments from friends and neighbors. I think Martin has over 40+ years of experience and I relied on him to provide me landscaping ideas. Martin doesn't take photos of all his amazing work so I took the honor to post the work he did for me to show people he is the real deal. However, he can provide you references if needed which he provided me. But, I knew he was the right guy just by talking to him. If your looking for a great landscaper, give him a try, his prices were very reasonable and his work was amazing. We had a great experience working with Colima Landscaping on our backyard remodel. We spoke with several Landscaping companies and chose to work with Colima Landscaping because we were so impressed with the designer, Martin. He took the time to really understand what we wanted done. He spent a lot of time taking meticulous measurements so that the initial design and quote would be as accurate as possible. He also brought up a lot of concerns that the other contractors did not even mention to us, such as that we would need to re-grade the slope to make sure it drained away from the house. He was also super accommodating when we made changes to the plan, which we did a few times (including one last-minute change that we made after demolition had started). And whenever unforeseen things came up and we needed to make changes, he went through the cost breakdown with us so that we understood all of our options and how much each option would add to the total cost. Most importantly, the end result is absolutely beautiful. I will not hesitate to work with Martin and Colima Landscaping again when we are able to do the front yard in a few years!

Fast and shoddy characterize this company's work. Great upfront customer service, but after my final payment Martin Herrera refused to return for warranty work (he ignore multiple voice mails). Prior to payment, he responded to calls within minutes. Numerous workmanship issues - sprinklers and irrigation valves not working, low gas line pressure, and poor landscape drainage. Also issues with damage to the exterior of the home during construction that were 90% remedied, but probably won't have occurred by a more professional company.
Colima Landscape Inc. offers the best landscape services in Ventura County. Martin Herrera the owner is very professional and takes pride of his work. He offer me various ideals and suggestions on building my dream backyard.
