Beware! Concrete Man's workmanship has defects, defects, and more defects.
Mr. Kenny Russell d.b.a. Concrete Man should not be in business. Mr. Russell left his crew at our house with no direction. 2 of the workers were illegal alien and ex-cons that spoke no English, smoked marijuana on the job, and urinated on the side of our house. The workmanship is shoddy, incomplete and a large portion of the work has failed. Mr. Russell has refused to respond to any of our phone calls, emails, and letters. As a result of him just walking away we are in the process a filing a complaint with the CSLB, and will be taking legal action. I cannot begin to express how dissatisfied we are with his work. Part of the job was installing slate on a cinder-block wall. They installed the slate right over the expansion joints and in no time at all the slate was falling off the wall. Mr. Russell came out twice and tried to make a band-aid type repair, however the slate continues to fall off the wall. I could write a book about all the sub-standard workmanship and blatant defects. If you are even thinking about hiring him I welcome you to stop by and witness our nightmare for yourself or feel free to call me @ 707-642-4959. Please, learn from our mistake and find a contractor who will stand by their work. We gave him 1 star because that is the lowest that we were allowed to give.
