The worst experience I have EVER had with a contractor, the story is longer than this but here is a snap shot. I thought I had done my due diligence by visiting his work site to look at his work but what I could not find were any reviews or customer testimonials about him or his business. My AWFUL experience starts with Incomplete work and ends with him leaving my kitchen unfinished and taking my money. Chad Hovde not only kept items that we had paid for, for example kitchen cabinetry, trim, knobs and canned lights. It gets worse, what he did install was installed incorrectly which resulted in hiring several new contractors to complete the job. In hiring several new contractors to complete the job we spent WAY more money than our original bid, thus costing more than our budget allowed for. Such a frustrating, time consuming and disheartening experience. My only hope with this post is that future customers will do their homework so they don't get burned.
