In responds to the above review by Rex Morgan here is the Letter of Recommendation he gave to Crossroads Quality Construction. I might add that we took this project after the previous builder had bailed on the project, so we took on someone else's mess. Lesson learned! I might also add if you go the the Fayette County Lien Search you can see ALL the people that have liens against his property for not paying bills.

    To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this endorsement of Sam Smith and Crossroads Quality Construction, Inc. as a customer
who found the right contractor fit for our reguild project. We are homeowners who unfortunately
did not check the credentials of our prior contracting company recommended by our realtor and in
the end turns out the prior contracting company ere not licensed contractors.
Sam Smith has stepped in and is now the general contractor for our project and is actually licensed
in Georgia (yes I checked). He has accomplished in about a month what the others could not
    accomplish in over three months.
Sam has gotten our home rebuild project past all of the critical Fayette County Building Inspections
and we are now finally able to finish out the interior. His day to day communications are good and
his subcontractors are hard working and get their jobs done in a timely manner. The company also
does well working with the local inspection authorities for Fayette County.
We find Sam Smith of Crossroads Quality Construction, Inc. a company that we "can deal with" in
every important way. In all a difficult job is now ongoing well and he has made us smile again after
    so much hardship.
Anyone with interest in working with CQCI, or having them bid on work, would have a good
experience with Crossroads Quality Construction. You are most welcome to call or contact me.
    Sincerely,
    Rex Morgan

    Complete Interior build out

Sam the Contractor made promises that the company owner Michelle later would not honor so get everything in writing from the owner. This contract started out okay with most of the work but then the final Finish work on our home was horrible. Every window and door frame molding is covered with gouges and blobs of caulking filling the molding grooves etc and looks horrible. We have to refinish all of them as the contractor refused. The Contractor did damage to existing water lines when digging but said they were okay and then later when the water was turned on they were very badly broken but now underneath the cement slab. If he had been honest these could have been easily repaired but instead it cost $950+ to fix later. Contractor exchanged the new unused Electric Furnace for a gas furnace and promised to pay back $500.00 for the unused electrical furnace but this now turns out to be theft as he did not keep his promise. We received quotes for stair railings as "Materials and Labor complete at $1800" but later were given additional quote for finishing/staining them at $2500 turned into the old bait and switch contractor method, and after they are finished their surfaces are all rough and have cross-grain sanding scratches in several places. We purchased all lighting fixtures but installer did not consult us as to what height to install anything and instead cut off the fixture wires which made all the pendant lights way too short. Electrical was installed without any connection in the electrical panel to the clothes dryer. We had to pay another electrician to trouble shoot that and repair it at a cost of $500.00 - and was promised by Sam the Contractor that Crossroads would reimburse for that but it turns out to not be true. Concrete patch in the back porch looks horrible - Sam said he would fix that and did not. Payments were regularly made up until we received a certificate of occupancy from the County Building department and we were told that Crossroads Quality Construction was done. So because of the very bad workmanship the very last one we kept back approximately $3400 and told Sam that it would be paid as soon as they finished what they promised to do.
He said this was covered under their 12 month warranty. We texted and called him after that and never got a reply then later received a lien from the county filed by the owner Michelle. Please feel free to ask me anything you wish to know. I would rate them as just okay but not great and get everything in writing from the owner Michelle as Sam cannot keep his promises.
