    Two BDR home addition
    $71,000

I'm telling everyone I know in the Skagit Valley about Curb Appeal and the Ruble Brothers. They are incredible. I'm putting the word out because they deserve it.

    Listen.

Before our family embarked on a two-bedroom addition to our home, everyone we knew warned us about contractors: it would like pulling teeth to keep the project on pace, hard to get a prompt response to calls, and I would need to plan to pay fifty percent more than the quote. Two other contractors showed us this exact behavior just in the process of trying to get their bid! Stephen Ruble was prompt, a bid in my inbox two days later. I thought it was too good to be true, a good hustle. But when we went with Stephen and brothers at Curb Appeal, that was our next three months with them: felt too good to be true.

Their crew showed up early each morning, kind, humble, with smiles. Our family looked forward to seeing them around. Stephen would text back to my questions on the same day, like, always. They did beautiful work with everything detail of trim, impressed the flooring guys by how perfectly square the entire structure was, and handled subcontractors with efficiency.

Stephen, our point for their general contracting, treated us like a good pastor would treat those he served: not as clients or customers but as his community to care for. My wife's due date for our next baby was the deadline for our whole project, and I could tell their whole team did everything possible to keep the schedule moving. When the flooring company completely dropped the ball, Stephen showed total transparency and gave me the option to get involved and bypass his contracting fee, if I wanted (which I did).

We just moved in. We LOVE this space. It's done two weeks ahead of our deadline. And the final bill came in far lower than we expected/feared.

Stephen chuckled early in our meetings this year, acknowledging that contractors don't have a great reputation for customer service--and that he wanted to help change that reputation in the trade. Man, he and Curb Appeal have done exactly that.

It's why I'm up late tonight writing this review that I intend to re-post anywhere I can. This kind of model deserves to grow.

Call these guys at CURB APPEAL. They are training new young workers as they grow--training them in the way we hope the next generation can learn to operate not just with construction, but with the community.

    Sincerely,

    Chris Hoke
    Mount Vernon, WA
