Would definitely not recommend. Installed kitchen cabinets and 3 ceiling fans. Also installed tile in my bathroom. I had to pay someone else to redo everything. His work is terrible. He is extremely sloppy. He destroyed some of my cabinets during the install, my ceiling fans were dangling from the ceiling and unsafe to use. The tile was uneven and there were gaps all over the place. Andy Mangion (D-TAK Constructon) is by far the worse contractor ever. Don't be fooled by his engaging personality. His qualitly of work is horrible.

Agree with the other reviews on all parts. Stay away from this guy, he is a fly by night. Received numerous violations for deck work that was done. STAY AWAY.

I concur with the other reviewer but would add lazy and incompetent to sloppy as well. It's been 5 weeks to remodel a bathroom and everyday there's an excuse on why he can't work or has to leave early. It's rush, rush, rush to get done as quickly as possible with no regards to quality or craftsmanship. Our floor tile started popping up and the grout cracking 2 days after he installed it. Our wall tiles aren't even close to being smooth as they pop up in every direction. There's also no planning, which I think is by design. If we have all of the parts from day1, there's less opportunity to create excuses on why work has to stop. I wouldn't even recommend him to build a lego set much less an actual house project.

Very sloppy work, cuts corners with material, in a rush to finish every job. Extremely unhappy with the work he provided. He talks the talk, is very outgoing and friendly but when it comes down to the work the quality is NOT there. Would strongly suggest not getting involved with this "so called" contractor.
