I just purchased a new home in Bear Valley Springs for which Dan Shobe was the builder. The home has many wonderful design characteristics and, overall, I am happy with my new house. However, Mr. Shobe was not able to complete my home before the close of escrow. He created a list of items that needed completion and agreed by signature to complete them by May 31st, 2019. He did not complete these items by the agreed upon date.
As in any new home, things are noted to be in need of repair after moving in. Mr. Shobe stated he would fix any additional items that are his responsibility as the builder. He followed through with many items, but not all, and I have had to pay for others to complete. In addition, when I moved into the house, I had to do all the construction clean-up inside the house as none of it had been done.
I would not recommend Mr. Shobe because of his lack of follow through, his inattention to details, and the fact that his verbal statements do not match his actions.
