I have been chasing Daven for months to complete work that I already paid for. He took $10K to order materials for my basement and has been avoiding me ever since. Now I'm having to pursue legal action to get my money back. He was very disorganized and unprofessional throughout the process, including accidentally texting me his fiance's OnlyFans profile picture. I really wish we could go back in time and never do any work with him.

When we hired him, we were told it would take 6 weeks and $15,100. It took over 14 weeks and I had to finish the last 10% because he quit. He kept telling me we were over budget. I kept asking for the numbers to prove it. I was providing him with numbers for completion percentages and total paid (things he should know). I was willing to pay if he could prove it but he never provided me with the numbers. He wanted me to pay his workers directly and I refused to for obvious reasons and I'd already paid him 98% of the estimated job. He wrote up a large ridiculous "final bill" to cover his "over budget" claims but had yet to provide numbers proving he was over budget. He threatened me a few times for various things and had to get law enforcement and my lawyer involved. Don't hire this guy.
