I had high hopes for a renovation that I hired David Ventures for and the team failed miserably. The house never got passed demolition and dragged on for more than 1 1/2 years. They constantly promised and insisted that things would get done and they never did. When I released them as the contractor, they insisted on arbitration which we accommodated and agreement was decided with them finishing the project with a check for $20,000 to move it along only to be told a few months later that they can’t finish the project because they were in bankruptcy. They walked away from the project only to be back from bankruptcy only a few months later. Because were now in a housing boom, the cost of bringing another contractor on to the project was more than what the budget would allow and thus is now in foreclosure with code violations and everything else that comes with it. I would not take the risk in hiring a swindler who only came up with excuses and only managed to rip me off both in money and in time. Tom Davis, you are a con artist!
