  Interior painting

  On September 20th 2016 we hired Mr. Clifford he did amazing job painting our interior and refinishing our kitchen cabinets. We hired him back to do more work but he said he had moved out of state. I don’t know how anyone could leave him bad feedback or see how he would rip anyone off. Mr. Clifford went above and beyond his job to make sure everything was done right and on time.

  Paint inside out

  Our experience was very similar to the one posted by Lisa. Mr. Clifford never told us that his license was suspended. He asked for money up-front, didn't return to perform the job neither did he refunded us the money. Also, the work that he initially performed was done very poorly; we ended up having to finish the work ourselves. The workers that he used came to our house looking for him because they didn’t get paid either. I highly advice each person to call the state licensing department before hiring Darren Clifford or his claimed business, DCS Construction LLC or any other affiliations that he is involved with.

  Mr. Clifford is a very skilled contractor, he is very fair on prices he always give us the receipts. He shows up on time and does the job right. We needed him to fix our siding and paint are house. We got other bids from other contractors who wanted to rip us off. But with Darren he was very trustworthy and very affordable. We will be using him in the near future and telling our friends about him.

  Fence Repair

  RIPPED OFF BY DARREN CLIFFORD OF DCS Construction

  On April 7th, I contacted a "Handyman For Hire" ad on Craigslist, because a section of my fence had blown down in the windstorm and needed to be replaced. The owner of the ad, Darren Clifford of DCS Construction LLC sounded very legit. He wrote me back saying he could do the job, that he only lived a few blocks away and he would come look at it that day. He sent me a Facebook link to his business https://m.facebook.com/DCS-Construction-LLC-15043594165262.../ and that he needed $60 advance to buy the materials, and total would be $200.

  He came over to my house, gave me a written proposal, and I gave him $100 in cash, then never saw him again. He kept postponing the job for various reasons - it was sprinkling, he was sick, he was splitting with his wife. Weeks dragged on, with excuses, no shows, & lies, and he stopped replying to my texts, answering my phone calls, and now won't email me back. It's been over a month now. His last email said he would give us our refund on Sunday. He no-showed again, and I can't get ahold of him.

  His Facebook page has since been removed, as well as his Craigslist ads. My fence still hasn't been repaired. At this point, I just want my $60 in fence materials he says he bought, plus my $40 change, or give me back my entire $100. This is DISHONEST, and CRIMINAL to take someone's money and then not perform the job.
