You'll see that DeGroot Construction has five stars, no matter where you look. That's because they really are the best....most professional, honest and talented builders around. Many of their clients have done multiple jobs with them. As their references told me...and I'll pass on...you're in good hands with Adam and Derek.

almost don't want to write this review, because as people continue to discover how good they are, they'll be harder to book. De Groot just finished my light kitchen renovation, and from start to finish, these guys were top-notch professional. They stayed within budget and guided my choices accordingly. And in terms of communication--the best I've ever had. These guys are quick to respond, and they even emailed a schedule/calendar of when various aspects of the job would be handled. Most important is their integrity, which came through in every way from start to finish. I've worked with numerous contractors over the years, and De Groot is by far the very best. They go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Five stars--I wish I could them ten.

Would recommend De Groot Construction to everyone. Had my master and hall bathrooms done by Adam and Derek and am very happy their work. They were always on time and let us know when they would arrive and which days they would be working. Their coordination of the plumbers, electricians, etc. was excellent. They worked with us even though we went outside of their normal contractors for the vanities and countertops. They laid down floor protection and always cleaned up after their work each day. They are very friendly and provided helpful insight at various decision points during the project. When we had an issue with new village building codes regarding smoke and CO detectors, they were able to work with the village to find us a cost effective solution. Their integrity is extremely high. I’m very glad that I hired them and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again in the future.
