Mike Cherry, principal of Denver Craftsmen LLC, established his construction company after relocating to Denver in 1998. With a background that began in artisanal trades—earning an Associate Degree in Art from Colorado Mountain College and apprenticing at Rolling Stone Art Studios—Mike developed skills in sculptural welding, layout and design, and jewelry making. He further apprenticed with a master metalsmith and stone setter while studying at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Mike previously founded Full Spectrum Coating Systems in Boulder, a finish trades firm serving the Mapleton Hill Historic District. Today, Denver Craftsmen operates from Centennial, Colorado, serving clients throughout the metro Denver area. The company handles a range of residential and custom projects, informed by Mike’s expertise in architectural renderings, finish specifications, and collaboration with experienced regional subcontractors.
