BRIAN DONAHUE of DONAHUE'S LANDSCAPE did a great job selling us on
a backyard oasis but couldn't deliver in any way shape or form. He cut corners everywhere imaginable, re purposing and reusing whatever he possibly could in a poor attempt to cut cost and increase his profit which is great, for him and I am all for reusing anything and not creating more junk in a landfill somewhere but thats not what we were paying for. The "contract" is not what is required by the state in several ways, including but limited to no start or end date, no details of what exactly will be done, what items will be used, the up front payment he required was several times more than the $1000 maximum allowed by the state for a job of this size and scope. Sadly I didnt know any of these things until nearly the projects end, I recently lost my better half who normally would have handled this kind of thing so it was all very new to me and Brian of Donahue's Landscape took advantage of that. Surprise surprise he also did not inform me of my right to cancel the contract within 3 days of signing and I found out through a friend who actually has my best interst in mind that his license was suspended and due to that I needed to keep him and his crew off of my property because I would e liable if anything were to happen, at least after informing him of this he quickly resolved the issues and had it reinstated and then blamed it on any and everyone other than himself or his errors. I should had known something was a miss by how often unprofessional he was including not being on time at east 80% of the time and or no call no show on several occasions so early on but you live and you learn I guess and I have learned who not to ever hire or recommend to even my worse enemy because nobody deserves to subjected to Donahue's Landscaping
