  dirt house pad / grading / driveway

  I hired this company to build a dirt house pad 120x120x2ft high and install a driveway 20x320 out of recycled concrete min 6"high and grade rest of 2 acre lot, this company did not Honor our contract, the house pad they did was not 2ft high all the way across as agreed upon in contract only 30'x70' in center was 2ft high the rest tapered down to about 3"at the 120 mark I was shorted a lot of dirt, the first day the trucks were full loads the next few days I noticed the trucks were half full and I had told the owner this twice and he did nothing about it he continued to do what he wanted until he said he was done with the pad he then moved on to grading the rest of lot which he did in such a hurry that it was in worse shape than before he started major high spots and low spots there were clumps of dirt and ruts everywhere also there was a row of dirt around perimeter so now I'm holding a lot of water on lot very poor work he just wanted to get out as fast as he could and take the money and run also the driveway he done is not flat it has many high and low spots that hold water (puddles) there was not enough material used there either, I had called owner and asked to meet me back out at property and he said he would call me back 3 weeks went by I called again and he hung up on me so I sent him a text message he replied he's not coming back out I replied with my concerns about the missing dirt (half loads)and that I can not put up forms for my foundation because of lack of dirt (improper construction of pad)(missing dirt)(half loads)and also improper grading and driveway issues I got no response so I called again and tried to come to some kind of resolution he stated he's not coming back out and hung up on me again and has blocked my calls and texts I have tried every way possible to resolve this matter with them they are not interested in a resolution I would not recommend hiring this company to do any kind of work what so ever they are not honest they do not honor their contract they do a lousy job a rushed job and take your money and run then avoid any contact with you the only recourse would be a lawsuit they are not professional or honest at all their work is absolutely sub par and a disgrace
