Creating a bigger space for a new tub that we purchased was so effortless with Doobek. The bathroom was big enough for a tub although the fixtures like the built-in sink and cabinet had to be moved around to accommodate the tub. My wife had been bugging me for some time so I finally gave in. I was quite hesitant at first knowing the hassle that I have to go through, but Mike and company made it as painless as possible. They visited us one day to check on what we have, came back with a plan and budget proposal and was working on the project immediately. Thank goodness for Doobek!

I quit my “Real” job a while back in order to focus all of my tender loving care on my home business, for the past year I realized I was starting to feel a little claustrophobic in my small room/office so I decided to shell out some cheese and expand, I mean sure I could have rented an office but I actually like being home with the kids, plus it adds to the value of the property, win win. Anyways, I was referred to Mike by a family friend, which is always a good starting point.
After 4 or 5 meetings over the course of probably 2 months, I decided that Mike is the man for the job, a stand up guy who kept true to his word. The job entailed a 400 sq. ft. addition into the back yard over a sloping hill, unbeknown to me at the time, the city of Pasadena has some very strict rules and regulations when it comes to building over a slope, doing the soil report, property survey, city design review, etc. Mike seemed to know his way through the city’s maze of regulations fairly well, after a little over a month or so we finally got the green light and the real work began.
I’ll admit, I’ve been told I’m not the easiest person to work with, personally I don’t know what they are talking about… lol. Right or wrong, it didn’t seem to bother mike or his foreman David, we got along pretty well and the job seemed to flow pretty well, and in three months, it was all over. Overall, it was a good experience, the job site was cleaned daily, the workers were very respectful, quality is top notch, and man oh man am I happy with the extra space. Mike is now my go to guy for any future projects.
