  This company told me that they would be done the job in one day that he originally told me three days- red flag number one. Requested the check when I returned later that day made to him personally- red flag number two. There was paint and scratches all over my new hardwoods done a week prior because they never used drop cloths. Craig swore that hand cut ceilings and trim was the way to go rather than tape and tools and that aspect was horrendous. His 4 workers left trash all over our house; outlet plates thrown anywhere with the mystery screws all over; spackle dust was ALL over the house even though that aspect wasn't complete- they painted over uneven walls and anchored screws previously in the wall rather than patching as previously discussed. When I had to leave before 4pm, he promised to come back and touch up with a worker of his. My wife showed up at 4:30pm and they were gone- he had the check I brought as he requested. Yes error on my part to not get it back, but I forgot. I was told the check wouldn't be cashed until he was done and before 5pm the check was cashed- not even to a business account- $1,750 cash. Despite Craig being extremely responsive via text and phone call before the job started (even on Easter morning at 9am), he has not responded to my texts or calls. Be careful and DO NOT PAY UNTIL THEY ARE DONE AND YOU ARE SATISFIED!!! My wife and I are first time homebuyers and could have used that $1.750 for other improvements. I had to take 4 days of paid time off, my father did as well and my wife took a day in order to have the mess cleaned up and repainted for our move on Sunday. I have paid about $600 in extra paint and supplies to redo the paint job from scratch. I also had to pay another $1,800 for our floors to be redone. Lesson learned but don't make the same mistake we did!
