If you are considering buying a house from this contractor, reconsider and look elsewhere. Dunbar Construction has absolutely no clue how to do anything correctly, cuts corners, and does some of the worst work possible in all facets of home remodel / construction. I bought a house that Dunbar had remodeled and flipped. Come to find out everything was done incorrectly and needed to be completely redone. For starters, right after moving in my brand new shower leaked through the 1st floor ceiling because the shower walls were not installed correctly and were never sealed. I had rusty water coming out of the brand new shower faucet because it was piped incorrectly which I found out when I ripped the brand new shower enclosure out. The same bathroom was freezing cold in the winter because come to find out the air duct register was completely covered over with the new flooring. They knowingly decided to paint over mold on the drywall in the master bedroom, and I know this because I found mold and was shown pictures of the house prior to him buying it from my neighbor. Most of my BRAND NEW windows leak when it rains because they were not installed correctly. My BRAND NEW roof leaks in my kitchen because the roof was installed incorrectly and not flashed properly. The plumbing in the house was all done very cheaply and poorly, and I know this because I was a plumber for 10+ years. The radon fan in the attic was 30 years old and not working, so I had to replace it myself. I could go on and on and on, but no one has enough time to waste reading a novel about a completely incompetent contractor that has absolutely no clue what he is doing. I guess what I'm getting at is you should steer very clear of any home / building that this contractor has came in contact with!
