  I was extremely happy with the work. Not only did they run the water lines to my washer box and kitchen they snaked the drain and added a cleanout for us. Rick and his guys laid down drop clothes, explained what they had to do and cleaned up the area when they were done. Ricks plumber Adolfo is also a sensational drywaller and tile guy.   Re-pipe plumbing system

  I first met Richard (Rick), the owner of Galaxy when I found there was a small leak somewhere in my water supply system. It turned out it was a supply line to the hall bathroom toilet. I contacted Galaxy because it was listed close by in Rio Rancho. I had no idea what to expect, but when Rick arrived, he informed of exactly what he would do, in what sequence, where in the house it would occur, when the job would be finished and the exact price. I thought it over for a day, then called and asked him to commence with the repair.

  Upon arrival, he laid tarps down in the living room, measured and marked out a section of the wall, had it removed, located the offending pipe, cut and capped it and spliced another pipe into an adjacent supply line. The repair was tested, the wall was put back in place, secured and textured, then painted. I could not tell by looking at the wall that anything was ever done to it. I was kept informed for the entire time the repair was in process, of exactly what was happening. When the repair was completed, the work area was totally cleaned, restored and there was no evidence that a repair was made.
  I was impressed and delighted!

  I became aware that my home was built using polybutylene pipe sometime after I bought the house and that there was some sort of legal action that took place which compensated buyers of homes with polybutylene pipe if failures occurred within a set time period. The failure in my home occurred five years too late to take advantage of the legal settlement. I knew it was only a matter of time before failures would manifest themselves and would be a constant source of problems.

  Because of the professionalism, knowledge, courtesy and patience that Galaxy Plumbing displayed in the repair, I asked Rick to give me a proposal to re-pipe the entire plumbing system.

  I received his proposal via email and Rick arrived (at my convenience) to discuss the details of the project. In that meeting he provided a general breakdown of each days activities, the materials to be used, noting that all piping would be routed underground and assured me that disruption of the water supply would be held to a minimum.

  He was true to his word. I was frankly amazed during each step of the way in the management of the work, the patience of him and his crew in explaining to me what was being accomplished and the professionalism in performing the work. Rick went out of his way to help me in performing tasks which were not part of the re-piping effort, such as installing a new kitchen sink faucet. I give Galaxy Plumbing my highest recommendation in every respect, all concrete work, all landscaping, all interior wall, texturing, painting, tile replacement and all cleanup.
  The world would be a better place if all businesses were as honest as Galaxy.

  Galaxy Plumbing was very professional. The owner Rick was very knowledgeable about plumbing and saved us time and money. They repaired a slab leak for us and put everything back and handled the insurance for us. Rick personally met with the insurance and made sure our claim went through. I am so glad we hired Rick.
