Our experience with Elegan Home Improvement, VLADIMIR PETLINSKY, who is the owner, and the person who personally contacted us at our home on 3-14-2019. Petlinsky is the contact person for Lowes' home improvement division. We had a leak referance an install by the previous Lowes contractor. Lowes was not professional to deal with and that was bad enough, but then Petlinsky came out and made it worse. Apparently he is doing TOO many jobs and has no time for customers, especially ones with active leaks in their homes. "Just let it leak and I will maybe get to you in a month", said Petlinsky. "I have this job Lowes job and other personal jobs going right now and I must be on these jobs."
But that was after he tried to tell us there was a one year warranty only. We quoted the California Business Professions code which makes contractors responsible for their plumbing work for 4 years! Why did he try to lie to us? I would never want to deal with someone who lies, or does not know the law and quotes wrong information. Then he said call the other contractor, however, we know Lowes was assigned as the general contractor and the law gives ownership to the issue to Lowes. All Lowes and Elegant Home tried to do was get out of fixing their problem and made the customer the victim.

I met Elegant Home Improvement through my local Lowes who hired them for my cabinet installation. It was the single worst contractor experience of my life. After a few weeks, we were able to finally solidify a start day that worked for both of us and an employee named Vladdy arrived late Monday, really late and worked a land then told me he would not return the following day. Wednesday rolled around and he arrived late again and worked and did not show again on Thursday, but some other guy did who did almost nothing. Moreover, no person who arrived at my house new the scope of work and told me that they would not, for example, be installing my appliances or kitchen sink. Well, come to find out, I did pay for the aforementioned installations, so I am not clear as to why I was told otherwise by Vladdy. This person also insulted my house and complained a lot. He also asked me to help him with install because he was alone on his second day of work. I can go on, but suffice to say, the experience was stressful. When I voiced my frustrations, I found a golf ball thrown through my window. I cannot say it was them, but there is a coincidence nonetheless. In sum, my cabinets have been completed going on 6 weeks and still not installed. Also, they left all their garbage and boxes in my yard after being asked to take them away (something I also paid for).
